I have been an amputee since 1973 due to an automobile/bike accident. I was on the bike and lost! I have been a patient of John Tyo's since 1983 and he is the best prosthetist I have found.

I have been to many prosthetists since losing my leg. I am now in the most comfortable socket I have ever worn. I am able to wear my prosthesis for 16 hours a day without discomfort. John is dedicated to satisfying patients and will adjust the socket until it fits comfortably with the rest of the components. John has a gift of aligning the socket which makes walking comfortable and smooth. He has given me a normal life that I am grateful for. When I am not working, I enjoy biking, hiking and canoeing. John, Gary and Sheila at CNY Prosthetic Center have earned my respect and friendship.
